Hampshire Shakespeare Company announces open auditions for the Young Company production of As You Like It directed by Chris Rohmann. The As You Like It production week will run July 28-August 3; show dates are August 1-3. There is a fee for participation in this workshop production. Auditioners should come prepared with a two-minute (maximum) classical monologue and ready to do some cold reading. Auditions will be held at TheHartsbrook School at 193 Bay Road in Hadley on Saturday April 12, 1-5 pm andSunday April 13, 1-5 pm. Some actors cast in leading roles work with an actingc oach during the rehearsal process for the main stage production of As You Like It, as well as take minor but fun roles in the adult show. Mainstage show dates are July 16-27 (Wednesday through Sunday). Hampshire Shakespeare Company is a community-based organization with part-time seasonal professional staff.
